Anytime I went over to the Berkelhamers I felt like I was one of their own. Both Mr. and Mrs. B treated us like we were special. They were special people and hold a sacred place in my heart and my soul. They will be missed. Carrie and I both send much love and regards. Rest in peace.

We grew up together as children. We were always very close, especially since we lived only two blocks away from each other. Laverne even babysat for Nort even though we were only three years apart in age. After Renee’ and I moved away from Chicago we never missed having lunch or dinner with Laverne and Larry each time we visited our family. We’ll miss her very much.

So sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. Could not see her all this time because of the virus but I certainly will always remember the fun trips that the four of us took together. So many good times. My condolences to all of you. I will miss her.
